Professor Varistha (Gift) Chobpattana wins thesis award from the National Research Council of Thailand

Our former student Varistha (Gift) Chobpattana has been awarded the thesis award from the national research council of Thailand.  She is one of 47 students to receive the award.  Gift is now Professor in the Department of Material and Metallurgical Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.  Gift's thesis focused on high-k/III-V interfaces. She demonstrated interfaces with record low interface trap densities and record high capacitance densities.  Her thesis work also contributed to our understanding of the nature of defects at these interfaces and their characterization.  Congratulations to Gift on this highly deserved award!
