Our former student Varistha (Gift) Chobpattana has been awarded the thesis award from the national research council of Thailand.  She is one of 47 students to receive the award.  Gift is now Professor in the Department of Material and Metallurgical Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.  Congratulations to Gift on this highly deserved award!

*Funded through the National Science Foundation’s Q-AMASE-i initiative, the Quantum Foundry at UC Santa Barbara is a next generation materials foundry that develops materials and interfaces hosting the coherent quantum states needed to power the coming age of quantum-based electronics.
